Job Purpose Maintains building by providing housekeeping services and sanitary maintenance on production and packaging equipment. Essential Job Results Maintains building interior by dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures; washing windows, counters, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; sweeping, scrubbing, and waxing floors; cleaning overhead piping and all bakery equipment; replenishing restrooms; and bagging scrap materials for pick-up. Safely maintains sanitary equipment by using necessary lockout/tagout procedures before cleaning; following manufacturer’s instructions when taking the machines apart; cleaning with air hose or other tools; putting machine back together correctly; and removing safety lock. Removes trash by emptying trash containers; transporting materials to disposal area; and recycling materials.
