Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Workflow specialist for a full-time position located in Chennai, Bangalore Urban, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, or Aluva. The ideal candidate will have up to 10 years of relevant work experience and will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing SAP systems for digital transformation initiatives. This position requires expertise in SAP ABAP programming, SAP workflow configuration, and SAP Fiori integration.

Qualifications and Skills

• SAP ABAP Programming (Mandatory skill): A strong understanding of SAP ABAP is essential for developing customized programs and solutions.
• SAP Workflow Configuration (Mandatory skill): Experience in configuring and managing SAP workflows to automate business processes.
• SAP Fiori Integration (Mandatory skill): Proficiency in integrating SAP Fiori applications for an enhanced user experience.
• BADI and BAPI Implementation: Ability to perform enhancements using Business Add-Ins (BADI) and Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI).
• SAP Enhancement Framework: Expertise in utilizing the SAP enhancement framework for implementing user exits and modifications.
• HANA Database: Knowledge of HANA database operations and optimization techniques for performance improvements.
• IDoc and ALE Setup: Experience in setting up and managing IDoc and Application Link Enabling (ALE) processes.
• ABAP on HANA: Skills in developing ABAP applications optimized for SAP HANA environments.
• Good experience in Odata
• CDS & AMDP
• Good in Fiori

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom workflows and enhancements using SAP ABAP and Workflow tools.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate SAP Fiori applications to streamline user operations and improve system usability.
• Lead technical projects and initiatives to ensure successful delivery within defined timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and maintain SAP system performance and stability.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
