About the Role

The SAP APO Consultant will be responsible for utilizing their analytical skills, consulting expertise, and knowledge in business processes, master data, and integration to provide effective SAP APO solutions. The SAP APO Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP APO implementation and enhancement projects including Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Global Available-to-Promise (GATP).
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops with business stakeholders.
• Analyze existing planning processes and propose improvements using SAP APO best practices.
• Configure planning books, process chains, and integration with ERP and satellite systems.
• Perform prototyping, testing, and documentation of APO functionalities.
• Collaborate with Basis, BI, and other SAP teams for seamless integration and performance tuning.
• Provide post-go-live support and ensure system stability.
• Mentor junior consultants and conduct internal training/bootcamps.
• Participate in estimations, solution design, and client presentations.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years with leadership in large-scale APO implementations; experience of 2 to 3 End-to-End implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience in APO modules: DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP.
• Good understanding of CIF integration and ERP planning processes.
• Experience in SAP HANA and S/4HANA transformation projects is a plus.
• SAP certification in APO or IBP is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
