SAP Ariba Contract Compliance Lead

Job Title: SAP Ariba Contract Compliance Lead Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 remote) Job Type: Contract (12 months) Max Pay Rate: $81/hr Role Overview We are seeking a senior-level SAP Ariba professional to design, implement, and lead a Contract Compliance function within a Source-to-Pay (S2P) environment. This role is responsible for engineering contract compliance processes from the ground up , ensuring purchase orders are systematically tied to contracts and compliance is enforced throughout the procurement lifecycle. This position requires deep functional expertise in SAP Ariba , strong executive communication skills, and proven experience leading cross-functional process transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Contract Compliance & Process Design Design and operationalize a contract compliance framework within SAP Ariba Ensure purchase orders are contract-driven to reduce manual intervention and audit risk Define and document end-to-end workflows across sourcing, contracting, and procurement SAP Ariba Functional Leadership Serve as SME for SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay modules , including: Ariba Contracts Ariba Sourcing Ariba Buying & Invoicing Configure and optimize Ariba functionality to enforce compliance rules Partner with technical teams to support integrations and data flow Supplier Master & Data Governance Design and maintain Supplier Master structures aligned to contract hierarchy Ensure supplier data integrity supports sourcing strategies and compliance controls Reporting & Executive Insights Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor: Contract compliance PO adherence Supplier performance Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead engagement across Procurement, Contract Management, Finance, and Enablement teams Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams Drive adoption of new processes through clear communication and change leadership Required Qualifications 7 years of experience in Business Execution, Strategic Planning, or Procurement Enablement Proven experience leading SAP Ariba contract compliance implementations Deep hands-on knowledge of Ariba Source-to-Pay modules Experience designing new processes , not just operating existing ones Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated experience developing dashboards and reporting
