Job Description:

Vendor Onboarding & Supplier Lifecycle

• Support all supplier onboarding activities, including registration, qualification, approval, and activation.
• Configure and maintain Supplier Registration Questionnaires (SRQ) and onboarding workflows.
• Manage supplier invitations, handle approvals and rejections, and oversee re-onboarding scenarios.
• Ensure supplier compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC), statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Support updates to supplier profiles, validate information, and manage changes in supplier lifecycle status.

AMS Support Activities

• Address L2/L3 AMS tickets related to vendor onboarding, supplier data, and issues within the Ariba Network.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes as appropriate.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problems in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and resolve issues promptly.

Integration & Master Data

• Support the integration processes between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems for vendor master creation and synchronisation, as well as business partner integration.
• Troubleshoot issues related to SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and other integration tools concerning supplier data.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis and Integration teams to resolve interface failures.

Compliance, Controls & Audit

• Ensure that onboarding controls are in alignment with internal audit and compliance guidelines.
• Support responses to audit queries related to supplier onboarding and approvals.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for onboarding processes and any changes made.

Change & Enhancement Support

• Assist with minor enhancements and configuration changes in onboarding workflows.
• Help roll out new onboarding forms, questionnaires, or regulatory changes.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and deployment activities.

Stakeholder & Supplier Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for business users and suppliers regarding onboarding-related issues.
• Provide guidance and training to procurement and vendor management teams.
• Support suppliers with Ariba Network registration and usage queries.

Modules & Functional Skills Required

• SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP)
• SAP Ariba Supplier Management
• SAP Ariba Vendor/Supplier Onboarding
• SAP Ariba Network (basic support)
• SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (nice to have)

Technical & Integration Skills

• Basic to intermediate expertise in SAP Ariba CIG/Integration Tool
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC Vendor/Business Partner integration
• Understanding of IDocs, web services, and data mapping
• Knowledge of master data governance concepts

Process & Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Experience in vendor master data governance
• Basic knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) in the Indian context
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for vendor onboarding
