SAP Basis Administrator will be part of the SAP Basis (SAP Central Landscape & BT Infrastructure) Global Team responsible for the administration of SAP Systems and corresponding SaaS & PaaS Services in KION Group IT. The person will take responsibility for the administration of the SAP Basis systems in cooperation with our outsourcing partner.
Focus on the SAP Systems of BT Project including SAP BTP, SaaS & PaaS Services and North American SAP Systems, having a significant contribution to the IT Services delivered by KION Group IT, as well as the development of the newly created IT Service Hub in Monterrey.
What We Offer
Your Responsibility:

  • Cross-location and administration support of the system landscapes with a focus on SAP Basis
  • Coordinate and control the external service provider in the SAP area and form the interface to the application team
  • Administration of all of KIONs SAP Systems and support of the application developers and the business
  • Carry out daily system checks as well as performance monitoring and derive measures for optimization
  • Provide incident support (2nd / 3rd level support) and implementation support of changes/release
  • Support of global SAP BT rollout project waves, SAP upgrades, implementation, and introductions, possibly also as a technical sub-project manager
Technology Stack You Will Work With
  • SAP Netweaver ABAP and JAVA systems (ERP, EWM, SCM, SolMan, MES, BW, etc)
  • SAP BTP – Business technology platform
  • SAP Cloud Services (CPQ, FSM, AIN, SAC, etc)
  • SAP Manufacturing Execution System
  • SAP Netweaver ABAP systems (Linux-based, HANA and Oracle database)
  • S/4HANA systems
  • Microsoft Azure based virtualized systems
Tasks And Qualifications
Your Skills and Expertise:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP applications maintenance and projects with a focus on SAP Basis
  • Ideally, experience in the SAP BTP environment and in operating cloud connectors
  • Ideally, experience supporting an S/4HANA transformation project
  • SAP Netweaver ABAP and Java
  • SAP Netweaver Java MES work experience is an advantage
  • SAP consulting background would be beneficial
  • Structured way of working and a "hands-on mentality"
  • Strong communication skills within a multicultural environment
  • A project-related willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
