SAP BASIS Consultant

Job description Infosys is seeking SAP Basis Senior Consultant, with experience in SAP monitoring, job scheduling in UC4 and SAP, UC4 administration, job configuration, integration with SAP, scheduling batch jobs, troubleshooting of job failures, process chains, maintenance, restart of UC4 systems & escalation of issues to respective teams. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot the issues, and provide support as needed.Qualifications BasicBachelor’s / Engineering’s degree. Will also consider a minimal of three-four years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 2-4 years of experience with Information TechnologyOver 6+ years of work experience as SAP Basis Consultant & Solid hands-on experience with SAP technologies like S/4HANA, ECC, BW, SAP NetWeaver, Web Dispatcher, Business Objects solutionsOver 4+ years of work experience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team (primarily on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms)PreferredExtensive experience in installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of SAP NetWeaverWork experience in Cloud Operations for running applications systems on a large scale.Experience in ITIL and IT Service Management processes such as Incident Management, Event Management / Monitoring, Change Request ManagementExperience in SAP System Upgrades, Kernel Upgrades, installed Support Package using SPAM, SAINT, and SUM along with OSS notes implementationContributing to initiatives to reduce application related outages.Good understanding of the SAP Basis systems both on Operation system level as well as inside the SAP system, preferably holding SAP certification in NW administration or S/4HANA System administrationAbility to troubleshoot complex issues and work on time critical assignments.Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitudeDB installations and upgrade, Planning, setup and implementation.Providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of Systems.
