Sap basis consultant

Position: SAP BASIS Consultant
Job Purpose:
 The SAP Basis Consultant manages the daily operation of SAP and related infrastructure. You will ensure a stable runtime environment in a standardized way.
Duties & Responsibilities:
 SAP Basis administration and support, technical support, transport management, batch management and production support for SAP environment
 Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting and refresh to ensure stability, recoverability of the SAP and related systems
 Definition, planning and implementation of system operations
 Perform root-cause-analysis, as well as performance management and optimization of Sap systems
 Proactively analyse SAP environment to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
 Create technical documentation and knowledge based articles.
 Provide recommendation and architecture and configuration.
 Identify infrastructure needs and implement optimizations.
 Become a trusted adviser for business requests and implementation.
 Identify, test, pilot, rollout and maintain the best technical solutions for business processes.
Knowledge & Skills:
 Adaptability of new technologies in SAP Products, DB, Operating system & Clouds.
 Working knowledge & Error log analyser of SAP ECC EHP, S/4 HANA, Database, SOLMAN, Fiori, BI, SAP router & Webdispatcher.
 Exp on high availability systems & distributed system landscapes Data replication & synchronizations Server Migrations, OS Migrations, OS/DB upgrades
 CCMS/ EWA Configurations
 SAP S/4 HANA, HANA, ECC, Oracle Update
 Kernel Upgrades, System Refresh, System Copy
 RFC Connections
 Applying patches/notes, SPAM/SAINT, JAVA Support Pack
 Server/DB/Performance Monitoring
 Table spaces / Secondary Indexes / SQL tunings
 Client Administration, Copies, Imp/Exp
 Server Migrations, OS Migrations
 Back-ups, Re-storations, BRTOOLS
 Application Server set-ups
 Complex User Security & Authorizations
 System Measurements & handling SAP License Audits
 Continuous Health Checks for systems
 Sizing of Hardware for SAP projects
 Working Knowledge of windows and SLES OS.
 Working knowledge of SAP Integration with Non SAP systems.
 Spool Administration
Work Experience:
5-7 Years’ Experience with exposure to Implementation & Roll out projects, Worked in S4 H environment
Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s degree with relative experience in SAP Basis & HANA
