Role & responsibilities
Job Title: SAP BASIS Lead
Location: Hyderabad / Kolkata
Experience: 6+ years
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage SAP BASIS administration activities across multiple environments.
Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
Manage transport requests and ensure smooth deployment of changes.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis.
Coordinate with functional and technical teams for system integration and support.
Ensure compliance with security standards and implement best practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BASIS team members.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in SAP BASIS administration (ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, PI, etc.).
Expertise in system refresh, client copy, and kernel upgrades.
Hands-on experience with HANA DB administration and performance optimization.
Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools.
Good understanding of OS (Linux/Windows) and DB (Oracle/HANA) concepts.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
