Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a SAP BRIM Functional Consultant specializing in SOM, CI, and CC. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing client requirements, designing and implementing SAP BRIM solutions, and optimizing business processes related to subscription order management (SOM), convergent charging (CC), and convergent invoicing (CI). The role includes providing strategic consulting, troubleshooting issues, and delivering configuration and end-to-end testing to ensure system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years overall, with strong functional SAP BRIM experience
• Strong functional expertise in SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC)
• Solid understanding of subscription and usage-based business models
• Experience working with SAP FI-CA and finance processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills
• SAP BRIM on S/4HANA experience
• Domain experience in Telecom, Utilities, Media, or SaaS
• SAP BRIM / SOM / CI / CC certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• SAP BRIM – Functional

o  Lead end-to-end functional design of SAP BRIM solutions covering subscription, charging, billing, and invoicing.

o  Conduct business requirement workshops and translate requirements into functional solution designs.

o  Define BRIM process flows and ensure alignment with business and finance stakeholders.

• SAP SOM (Functional)

o  Configure subscription lifecycle management including creation, change, renewal, suspension, and termination.

o  Design subscription products, bundles, and offerings.

o  Define order orchestration, fulfillment, and contract change processes.

o  Support UAT, defect resolution, and business sign-off.

• SAP CI (Functional)

o  Configure convergent invoicing processes, billing cycles, and invoice aggregation.

o  Define invoice structures, billable items, and reconciliation processes.

o  Ensure seamless integration with FI-CA and Finance teams.

• SAP CC (Functional)

o  Define charging models, usage types, and rating logic.

o  Design real-time and batch charging scenarios aligned with business requirements.

o  Validate charging accuracy and billing consistency.
