Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote role for a SAP BRIM Technical Consultant (SOM/CI/CC). The consultant will be responsible for configuring and implementing SAP BRIM solutions, including Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Convergent Charging (CC). Responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, providing technical consulting, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing solutions for maximum efficiency. Additionally, the consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years overall, with strong SAP BRIM technical expertise
• Strong ABAP development and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience with SAP BRIM interfaces and integration frameworks
• Experience with IDocs, APIs, RFCs, events, and middleware
• Knowledge of S/4HANA BRIM architecture
• Familiarity with FI-CA technical integration
• Experience with high-volume billing and rating systems
• Exposure to cloud-based or hybrid SAP landscapes
• SAP technical certifications in BRIM or S/4HANA

Responsibilities

• SAP BRIM – Technical

o  Design and implement technical architecture for SAP BRIM solutions.

o  Support integrations between SAP BRIM components and external systems.

o  Troubleshoot and resolve complex BRIM technical issues in development and production environments.

• SAP SOM (Technical)

o  Develop and enhance SOM-specific customizations, BADIs, and user exits.

o  Support SOM orchestration and event-based processing.

o  Debug and optimize SOM-related ABAP code.

• SAP CI (Technical)

o  Implement technical enhancements for Convergent Invoicing and billing processes.

o  Develop custom reports, reconciliation logic, and invoice-related enhancements.

o  Support CI integration with FI-CA and downstream finance systems.

• SAP CC (Technical)

o  Configure and support SAP CC integration with SOM and CI.

o  Troubleshoot rating and charging issues in real-time and batch scenarios.

o  Optimize performance and data flows between CC and CI.
