SAP CPQ Consultant

Job Description

Experience: 10-15yes

Work location: Hyderabad / Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design scalable SAP CPQ solutions.
• Configure product catalogs, pricing rules, workflows, and quote templates.
• Develop complex product configurations using constraints, rule sets, and advanced logic.
• Build and customize CPQ UI layouts, quote forms, and approval workflows.
• Integrate SAP CPQ with SAP Sales Cloud , SAP Commerce , and SAP ERP/S/4HANA .
• Develop Groovy scripts / custom logic for CPQ functionalities (if technical role).
• Conduct unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize configuration performance, and provide production support.
• Prepare documentation, functional specs, and technical design documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, pricing, IT, SAP CX) throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPQ configuration and administration.
• Expertise in product modeling , pricing rules, attributes, constraints, and workflows.
• Good understanding of quote lifecycle , approvals, and document generation.
• Experience integrating CPQ with SAP Sales Cloud (C4C) and SAP ERP/S/4HANA .
• Knowledge of APIs , data integration, and middleware (CPI preferred).
• Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot issues.

Technical Skills (for Developer Profile)

• Groovy scripting for custom logic.
• REST API / SOAP API integration.
• JSON/XML transformations.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) or other iPaaS tools.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP concepts (good to have).

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Sales Cloud , SAP Commerce , or SAP Subscription Billing .
• Understanding of CPQ best practices , performance tuning, and data migration.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• SAP CPQ Certification (preferred).
