Job Description – SAP Datasphere (DSP) Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a SAP Datasphere Developer to design the semantic and analytical layer on top of SAP HANA Cloud. Datasphere is used strictly for modeling and analytics, with no physical data storage .

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain Fact Views and Analytic Models in Datasphere.
  • Consume data remotely from SAP HANA Cloud .
  • Implement parameter-driven analytics (rolling dates, comparisons).
  • Ensure correct placement of calculations between:
    • Fact Views
    • Analytic Models
  • Implement Data Access Controls (DAC) .
  • Support SAC live models with performant and reusable analytics.
  • Understand replication, data flows, and transformation flows (conceptual).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with SAP Datasphere modeling .
  • Clear understanding of:
    • Fact View vs Analytic Model behavior
    • Calculation limitations and best practices
  • Experience with:
    • Parameters and dynamic calculations
    • Remote data consumption
  • Strong analytical and modeling mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting SAC live reporting .
  • Exposure to future-state scenarios with limited data persistence.
