Workday Techno Functional Consultant Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Workday Functional Technical Integration Consultant to lead the design and enablement of integrations between Workday and our auto body repair shop platform. This role bridges business requirements, Workday configuration, and technical integration design, enabling development teams to build reliable and compliant integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
•
Act as the subject matter expert for:
o
Workday Human Capital Management
o
Workday Payroll
o
Workday Financial Management, including:
?
General Ledger
?
Accounts Payable
?
Accounts Receivable
o
Translate business requirements into functional and integration designs
o
Define data ownership, approval boundaries, and reconciliation processes
Technical & Integration Responsibilities
•
Design integration patterns and help the development teams with identification of rest APIs based on the functional requirements for:
o
Employee data synchronization
o
Time and labor data ingestion into payroll
o
Payroll results posting into financial accounting
o
Vendor invoices
o
Customer billing integration
•
Guide engineering teams on:
o
Workday Api’s
o
Workday application workflows
•
Define data mappings, transformations, and validation rules
•
Support integration testing, issue resolution, and go-live readiness
Required Qualifications
•
5+ years of Workday experience across functional and integration areas
•
Hands-on experience designing integrations using Workday API’s
•
Strong understanding of:
o
Workday Human Capital Management
o
Payroll, costing and accounting flows.
•
Ability to work closely with software engineering teams
