SAP EWM Consultant with Carrier Management Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant with knowledge in Carrier Management will be an advantage. The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of relevant experience in implementing and maintaining SAP EWM solutions,. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse management systems and logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

1. SAP EWM Implementation:

• Actively participate in SAP EWM implementation projects, including system design, configuration, and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP EWM to meet specific warehouse and logistics needs.

2. Carrier Management:

• Develop, implement, and optimize carrier management processes within SAP EWM.
• Work closely with carriers to establish and maintain partnerships, ensuring smooth transportation operations.
• Monitor carrier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.

3. System Maintenance and Support:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP EWM systems, resolving issues and ensuring system reliability.
• Perform regular system updates and enhancements to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional problems as they arise.

4. Training and Documentation:

• Train end-users and colleagues on SAP EWM functionality and best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.

5. Integration and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to integrate SAP EWM with other systems, such as SAP ERP and third-party logistics platforms.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency between systems.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Stay current with SAP EWM best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any other Bachelors degree.
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in SAP EWM configurations, including experience with Carrier Management.
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• SAP EWM certification is a plus.
