Solution Architect – SAP EWM (Technical) (15 TO 19 YEARS EXPERIENCE ONLY)
Role Overview:
Gyansys Infotech is looking for a senior, hands-on SAP EWM Technical Solution Architect who can take complete ownership of the technical design and delivery of complex warehouse management solutions. This role is meant for architects who are deeply involved in system design, enhancements, integrations, and performance tuning—while also contributing selectively to practice development and pre-sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities – Delivery & Solution Ownership (75%)
• Own end-to-end technical architecture for SAP EWM implementations and rollouts
• Design and build scalable, high-performance EWM technical solutions aligned with business and warehouse operations
• Hands-on development and enhancement of:
- SAP EWM ABAP objects (Enhancements, BAd Is, User Exits)
- Warehouse Monitor enhancements
- RF Framework developments and screen modifications
- Forms (Smart Forms / Adobe Forms) related to warehouse processes
• Design and manage EWM integrations with:
- SAP S/4 HANA / ECC (Core Interface – CIF)
- External WMS, MES, and 3rd-party logistics systems
- IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, APIs
• Own and optimize critical EWM processes including:
- Inbound & Outbound Processing
- Putaway, Picking, Packing, and Staging
- Warehouse Task and Warehouse Order processing
- Yard Management and Labor Management (if applicable)
• Lead technical solutioning for:
- EWM on S/4 HANA (Embedded & Decentralized)
- Performance optimization for high-volume warehouses
- System debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security standards, and performance benchmarks
• Work closely with functional EWM consultants, MM/SD teams, and business stakeholders
Practice Development & Pre-Sales Contribution (25%)
• Support pre-sales activities including:
- Technical solution design for RFPs and proposals
- Architecture walkthroughs and client discussions
- Effort estimation and delivery approach definition
• Build and contribute to reusable assets such as:
- EWM technical accelerators and frameworks
- Standard integration templates
- Best practice documents and delivery playbooks
• Mentor senior EWM technical consultants and guide technical standards across projects
• Contribute to strengthening Gyansys’ SAP EWM practice and thought leadership
Required Skills & Experience
• 15–19 years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP EWM Technical
• Deep hands-on expertise in SAP EWM ABAP development
• Strong experience with RF Framework, Warehouse Monitor, and EWM enhancements
• Solid exposure to CIF, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs
• Experience with both Embedded and Decentralized EWM architectures
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
• Proven experience in high-volume, complex warehouse environments
Good to Have: • Experience with MFS, Yard Management, or Labor Management
• Exposure to automation, conveyor systems, or robotics integrations
• SAP EWM or S/4 HANA certifications
