Job Description
OverviewThe Role will engage with various upgrade/migration projects to support multiple SAP Applications globally across all sectors (AMESA, APAC, NA, Europe, LATAM) including PGT program. The resource will be hands-on and also work with key contacts of the vendors and competencies globally to ensure successful delivery of Upgrade/Migration. This role will also be responsible for technical implementation of (SAP Cloud Apps/BTP) projects as well
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the delivery of high-quality technical solution and delivery for all SAP solution across all sectors (AMESA, APAC, NA, Europe, LATAM) including support PGT program. This role will manage multiple complex technical deliveries/projects across SAP application landscapes across multiple geographies and partner with other IT orgs (such as infrastructure, enterprise architecture, ITOPS, etc.) to plan and deliver comprehensive environment for each project. This includes build new SAP severs, installing or upgrading existing SAP instances, and providing all SAP Basis function support. Following global standards and ensuring tight integration with the global delivery team
Expert hands-on SME in Upgrades/Migrations
Works with other Upgrade leads/Global leads and gets guidance from global teams for standards and directionLeads team's work with customers and IT partners to identify and resolve issues within defined SLAsProvides outstanding customer service to direct and indirect customers QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or Equivalent8+ years of hands-on System Admin in SAP.S/4 HANA, PO, TPM, EP, CARAB, Fiori, SAP ABAP and Java stacks, Migrations, S/4 Conversion, Upgrades, Azure Cloud Experience will be preferredMust be able to work as a Lead or also as an Individual Contributor with expertise in Hands-on in Upgrades/MigrationsExperience in Databases and various operating systems. Knowhow of Infrastructure including Datacenter operations and NetworkExpert of Migrations and UpgradesExpert of HA/DR setupKnowledge of integration points between business processesDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirementsSolves highly complex problems within the work teamProvides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customersKnowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP upgrades, SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, MS Office products, project implementation and production support experience
