About the Role:
This role focuses on SAP data entry and system support for the merchandising team. Attention to detail, willingness to learn SAP processes, and basic merchandising knowledge are key to success in this role.
Experience & Requirements : (Immediate Joiners Preferred)
1–2 years of experience in merchandising support, SAP data entry, or a related role.
Good communication skills and ability to follow timelines.
Prior experience in the garment/apparel industry.
Basic working knowledge or hands-on exposure to SAP (preferably MM / SD modules).
Understanding of merchandising processes such as order entry, material masters, BOM, and costing.
Experience in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting.
Ability to coordinate with merchandisers, sourcing, and production teams.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. SAP Data Entry & Maintenance
Create and maintain material master data in SAP (styles, fabrics, trims, accessories).
Enter purchase orders, sales orders, and work orders accurately in SAP.
Update BOM (Bill of Materials), routings, and costing details in the system.
Maintain size sets, color codes, and style-level information.
2. Order & Production Support
Enter and track order details such as quantities, delivery dates, and shipment schedules.
Update production status and order progress as per inputs from the merchandising team.
Support sample tracking and approvals in SAP.
3. Costing & Commercial Data
Assist in entering and updating cost sheets in SAP.
Maintain pricing, vendor rates, and commercial terms as approved.
Support margin and cost variance tracking.
4. Vendor & Buyer Coordination (System Support)
Update vendor master data and factory details in SAP.
Record buyer revisions, confirmations, and amendments in the system.
Share SAP-generated reports with merchandisers and relevant teams.
5. Reports & Documentation
Generate SAP reports related to orders, materials, and production status.
Ensure data accuracy for MIS and management reporting.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.
