The role focuses on SAP Payroll, Tax, and Benefits configuration, live payroll operations, compliance, integrations, and ongoing support.</b></p> <p><br /> <b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p> <p class="x">Key Responsibilities SAP Payroll & Tax (Core Focus) </p> <ul> <li class="x">Configure, maintain, and support SAP Payroll (PY) for U.S. and Canada </li> </ul> <ul> <li class="x">Own end-to-end payroll processing, including pre-payroll validation, payroll runs, post-payroll activities, off[1]cycle payrolls, Garnishment, 3rd party remittance, payroll posting, tax and the interfaces related to that </li> <li class="x">Configure and maintain tax models, wage types, schemas, PCRs, rules and paycheck forms </li> <li class="x">Support year-end processing, including W-2, W-2c, T-4 and tax reconciliation </li> <li class="x">Integrate and support third-party tax vendors (e.g., ADP, BSI)</li> <li class="x">Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies, tax errors, retro calculations, and posting issues Benefits & Integrations</li> <li class="x">Configure and support SAP Benefits (BN) including new plans, eligibility, enrollment, deductions, retroactivity </li> <li class="x">Manage benefit-related payroll deductions and employer contributions </li> <li class="x">Support and troubleshoot benefits vendor integrations (inbound/outbound interfaces, files, IDocs, APIs) </li> <li class="x">Ensure accurate mapping of benefits to payroll wage types </li> </ul> <p class="x"> </p> <p class="x">Technical Configuration & Support </p> <p class="x"> Configure and debug schemas, PCRs, wage types, infotypes, and posting rules </p> <p class="x"> Perform root-cause analysis for payroll and benefits defects and deliver permanent fixes</p> <p class="x"> Support payroll posting to Finance (FI) and reconciliation activities </p> <p class="x"> Participate in system upgrades, support packs, and enhancement implementations </p> <p class="x"> Execute unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT and parallel payroll runs Compliance & Controls </p> <p class="x"> Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations </p> <p class="x"> Support audits, controls, and compliance documentation </p> <p> Implement changes driven by legislative or regulatory updates</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Technical Experience Must Haves </li> <li> 5+ years of hands-on SAP Payroll, Tax & Benefits experience (ECC and/or S/4HANA) and SuccessFactors EC </li> <li>Strong handson experience with: o SAP Payroll schemas & PCRs o Wage type configuration o Tax models and tax reporting o Benefits configuration and payroll integration </li> <li> Proven experience supporting live payroll operations, not just implementations </li> <li>Experience with U.S. payroll and taxation (international a plus) Tools & Systems </li> <li>SAP HCM / SAP Payroll (PY) </li> <li>SAP Benefits (BN) </li> <li>Payroll posting to FI </li> <li> Third-party tax or benefits vendors (e.g., ADP, BSI)</li> <li>Debugging tools and payroll logs Preferred Qualifications </li> <li>Experience with SAP S/4HANA Payroll or SAP Payroll on HANA and SuccessFactors </li> <li>Good Understanding concepts of SAP CPI, SF Connectors integrations </li> <li>Exposure to UKG Time Management (PT) and its impact on payroll </li> <li>Experience in large, complex, or unionized payroll environments </li> <li>Payroll or tax certifications (CPP, FPC, or SAP certification) </li> <li>Experience supporting multi-state or multi-country payrolls</li> </ul> <p> </p>
