Job Title: SAP PPDS Consultant

Job Location: Gurgaon

Work Mode: On site

Experience Required: 6 - 8 Years

We are looking for an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant to join our team for an exciting onsite engagement.


Role & Responsibilities


  • Implementation & Configuration Configure and implement SAP PPDS (S/4HANA or APO): heuristics, optimizers, CTP, finite scheduling, production allocation, and order sequencing
  • Customize Planning Board, DS Board, alerts, setup matrices, and sequence constraints
  • Perform CIF configuration for master and transactional data between ECC/APO and S/4HANA
  • Business Requirement Analysis Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders
  • Conduct FIT-GAP analysis and document functional specifications
  • Testing & Deployment Support end-to-end project lifecycle: Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare
  • Troubleshoot PPDS issues and ensure stable production performance
  • Master Data & Integration Manage PPDS master data: Products, Locations, Resources, PDS, Routings, Production Versions, Capacities
  • Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and Supply Chain Planning
  • User Enablement Conduct user training, prepare documentation, and support end-users
  • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices and Fiori-based tools


Required Skills


  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA PPDS / APO PPDS
  • In-depth knowledge of heuristics, finite scheduling, CTP, and optimizers
  • Master data management: BOM, Routings, Work Centers, PDS, Capacity Planning
  • Integration experience with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, PI/PO, and CIF
  • Advanced planning: setup matrices, sequence constraints, block planning, pegging, what-if simulations
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
