SAP Production Planning Lead

responsibilities

·SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning modules, including the configuration and customization of the system to align with the company's production requirements.

·Production Planning Optimization: Analyze existing production planning processes and develop strategies to optimize production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory management.

·Master Data Management: Maintain and update master data related to production, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

·Forecasting and Demand Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish accurate demand forecasts and integrate them into the production planning process.

·Capacity Planning: Monitor and manage production capacity, ensuring that it aligns with production demands and identifies potential bottlenecks.

·Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing resource utilization.

·Inventory Management: Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts.

·Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance production planning efficiency and accuracy.

·Integration: Collaborate with other SAP modules, such as Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD), to ensure seamless data flow and information sharing.

·User Training: Provide training and support to end-users and other team members to ensure they can effectively use the SAP S/4HANA Production Planning system.

·Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications

·Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology).

·Minimum of 7+ years’ experience with SAP Production Planning

·Medical Device industry or medical field is a plus

·Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning implementation and optimization.

·In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning modules.

·Strong understanding of production planning concepts, demand forecasting, and inventory management.

·Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

·Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

·Experience in leading and managing projects related to SAP implementations.

·SAP certification is a plus.

·Knowledge of industry-specific best practices and regulations (if applicable).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

·Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

·Experience with SAP Firori.
