Asset Readiness & SAP Specialist – Major Projects:

About the Role

This position plays a key role in preparing new assets for safe and efficient operation as they transition from project delivery into production. Reporting into the Operational Readiness function, you will partner with project teams, site stakeholders, and support groups to ensure all readiness activities are completed to a high standard across the full project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work closely with project teams to understand scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all operational readiness data, equipment information and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with key support functions such as Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability, Water Management, and Process teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards and operational frameworks.
• Build and update SAP master data, including functional locations, equipment records, task lists, BOMs, maintenance items, and maintenance plans—aligned with maintenance strategy, legal requirements, and asset management principles.
• Provide structured progress updates, maintain schedules, and support cost tracking for readiness activities.

What You Bring

• Electrical trade qualification or similar technical background
• Experience in maintenance planning or asset management, ideally within resources or heavy industry
• Strong capability in SAP master data creation/modification
• Solid understanding of maintenance processes, operational readiness principles, and asset lifecycle management
