SAP S/4 HANA Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Integration Developer Consultant for a short-term, project-based engagement. The role involves designing and implementing integration between a Java-based application and an SAP ERP. The consultant will work closely with internal engineering and product teams to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable data exchange between systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration between a Java-based application and an SAP ERP.
• Analyze existing procurement workflows and SAP data structures to define integration requirements.
• Develop and configure interfaces, APIs, and middleware (if applicable) for data synchronization.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical documentation, including integration architecture, data mappings, and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues within tight project timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HANA, including data modeling and integration.
• Strong experience in SAP integration with external systems, especially Java-based applications.
• Proficiency in integration technologies such as SAP APIs, OData services, REST/SOAP, or middleware tools.
• Good understanding of Java application architecture and backend integration concepts.
• Experience with data formats such as JSON, XML, and secure data transfer mechanisms.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver within short project timelines.

• Prior experience integrating procurement or ERP systems with SAP.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP or CPI is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
