Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications. The role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions. This position includes both front-end and back-end development responsibilities within a modern enterprise technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business use cases, pain points, and functional requirements with a user-centric mindset
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions
• Solve complex technical problems using appropriate tools, frameworks, languages, and agile methodologies
• Define suitable technology stacks, integration approaches, and deployment strategies
• Create high-level and detailed software architecture designs
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and other engineering teams
• Define and implement software testing strategies, standards, and best practices
• Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Follow modern development practices including TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps principles
• Ensure application security through best practices such as data encryption and anonymization
• Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
• Build and maintain backend services including APIs and microservices
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance solution capabilities

Additional Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AO), especially workbooks consuming Fiori CDS/OData models
• In-depth knowledge of CDS views, including analytical queries, annotations, metadata exposure, and extensions
• Experience with OData service registration and consumption in analytics scenarios
• Basic understanding of BW transactions such as RSA1, RSRT, and their usage
• Exposure to S/4HANA architecture and Embedded Analytics frameworks
• Familiarity with Fiori analytical applications (Smart Business KPIs, Analytical List Pages, etc.)
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical developers
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and documentation skills
