Job Description
AVC Modeling & Maintenance: Create and manage complex product configuration models (KMAT), including characteristics, classes, configuration profiles, and super BOMs/routings.
Object Dependency Management: Develop sophisticated rules (constraints, procedures, pre-conditions) to ensure only valid product combinations are ordered and produced.
Innovate to Offer Optimization: Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to translate engineering specifications into actionable sales configurator rules.
System Integration (OTC/PP): Integrate AVC with SAP SD (sales orders, pricing) and PP (production planning) to enable Configure-to-Order (CTO) or Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes.
Performance Optimization: Leverage SAP HANA in-memory capabilities for real-time configuration validation, reducing errors and improving user experience.
Migration Support: Lead the transition from Legacy Variant Configuration (LO-VC) to Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) in S/4HANA
