We are seeking an experienced SAP SD SME to lead and support end-to-end Sales & Distribution processes within SAP, including sales for products and services, delivery & goods movement, various billing scenarios, accounts receivable (AR), revenue recognition, rebates management, sales accruals, intercompany sales, leasing sales, and integration with external satellite systems (approx. 5 interfaces). The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams including FI/CO, MM, PP, and technical teams to deliver robust solutions aligned to business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP SD experience with deep functional expertise across order management, billing, AR, rebates, pricing, and intercompany processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies (IDoc, EDI, API, RFC) and experience with 5+ integrated systems/interfaces.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition, accounts receivable, sales accruals, and complex billing requirements.
• Proven experience in intercompany sales, leasing sales, and special billing scenarios.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA SD and integration with FI/CO, MM, PP modules.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Order-to-Cash (O2C) & Sales Processing

• Lead and optimize sales order processing for both products and services within SAP SD.
• Manage delivery and goods movement processes including billing readiness and integration with inventory systems.
• Configure and support delivery documents, picking, packing, shipment processes in conjunction with logistics execution.

Billing & Revenue

• Handle billing processes including periodic billing, one-time billing, proforma invoices, debit/credit memos (DN & CN), and advance billing scenarios.
• Support accounts receivable (AR) postings and integration of billing documents with FI.
• Implement revenue recognition processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards and business policies.
• Configure and manage sales accruals, ensuring accurate accounting treatment and reporting.

Master Data & Pricing

• Define and maintain customer master, material master, pricing procedures, condition techniques, rebates, and discounts.
• Configure and support rebate agreements and periodic rebate settlement logic within SD.

Intercompany & Special Sales

• Handle intercompany sales, ensuring correct pricing, billing, and postings between legal entities (intercompany billing).
• Manage leasing sales configurations where applicable, ensuring billing and contract conditions align with business needs.

Integration & Interfaces

• Work on integration with satellite systems through approximately 5 key interfaces (e.g., middleware, EDI, IDocs, APIs).
• Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and deploy integration solutions for external systems, ensuring seamless data flows for orders, deliveries, billing, and AR.
• Ensure proper interface monitoring and support for inbound/outbound data exchange.

Cross-Module Collaboration

• Coordinate with SAP FI/CO (for revenue account determination, financial postings), MM (for availability checks, intercompany processes), PP (for order-related production flows), and other relevant modules.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, and translate into functional specifications for development.
