About the Role

As a Software Engineer II on the SAP development team, you'll build and enhance solutions that help businesses navigate complex tax compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Sovos SDLC meetings and apply process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kanban, and XP.
  • Coach and mentor junior developers, leading them on shared stories and tasks.
  • Develop high‑quality code in alignment with Sovos conventions and accepted coding best practices, including design patterns.
  • Draft designs and documentation for major functionality.
  • Refine and improve development tools including IDEs, Jenkins, and test harnesses.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and customers around requirements, issues, and common matters.
