This role is mainly concerned to be part of the SAP Technical team and manage the entire SAP landscape in terms of support, new implementations, BCP, Evolutions of different SAP Products and recommendations to our Key Users.

Value Chain - Global Technology team

Value chain IT teams are responsible for ensuring a smooth supply chain for Decathlon Worldwide, right from production, transport & customs, logistics, order fulfillment, forecast & replenishment up to products reaching the stores/ customers. This entire journey involves multiple SAP & non-SAP modules tightly coupled to ensure a seamless business deliverable.

Office Location : Decathlon Digital Office, Park Square Mall, ITPL, Whitefield, Bangalore - 560066
Way of Working: 3 days per week at office (Hybrid)
Contract Type (Third Party Payroll) : 12 Months (Can be continued basis on project requirements)

Decathlon India SAP Technical Expert

As a part of the Decathlon mission, the SAP Technical UNITED team is looking for sporty, energetic & responsible “SAP Devops / Technical Consultant” for supporting the current SAP architecture in Decathlon, be part of the new implementations, manage multiple SAP Modules and possesses the capabilities of SAP BASIS, HANA, OS Level Administration and cloud architecture knowledge.

Your Profile :


  • You graduated from an engineering school or equivalent.
  • You like to challenge yourself and also the traditional solutions to bring something new.
  • You like challenges in technology & you enjoy developing new solutions in your domain
  • You have a strong affinity with ownership & accountability also you demonstrate good sense of organization 
  • You like to work in a team & express initiatives.
  • : 

  • At least 7+ years of experience in SAP BASIS Support & Implementation) & HANA.

  • Expert in SAP administration, installation, upgrades.

  • SAP Hana administration, installation & automated upgrades.

  • SAP Solution manager administration , installation and upgrade.

  • Public cloud management knowledge (GCP and AWS).

    Good knowledge On (Technical Know-How) :

  • SAP BASIS , JAVA & HANA Fundamentals.

  • SAP Upgrades, Refreshes, System Configuration, System Copy.

  • Technical knowledge of different SAP Modules like SAP ECC, EWM, FMS, BW, FNR etc.

  • Hands on experience on S/4 module administration , installation and upgrades.

  • Hands on experience on BTP solution and know how

  • Kernel Upgrades, OS upgrades on SUSE LINUX with basic linux administration.

  • Good Knowledge on SAP HANA Database (Upgrades , Installations and Troubleshooting).

  • Good knowledge of SAP certificate installation , configuration and updates.

  • Understanding of SOLMAN and monitoring setup

  • L3 troubleshooting Skills on SAP BASIS Topics.

  • L3 troubleshooting Skills on HANA DB performance.

  • HANA backup solutions , knowledge on setting up Backup and perform restore

  • Understanding of SAP security best practices.

  • Any SAP/Cloud Certifications will be an advantage.


    Responsibilities as a Product Owner of SAP Modules : 

  • Manages Product Lifecycle and Defines the Roadmap/ Vision of Product.
  • Ensure Skill Knowledge in the Team.
  • Manages Periodic Meetings with the stakeholders.
  • Masters the Compliance of the Product in Decathlon standards.
  • Manages the KPIs of the standard service quality of Product.
  • Possess knowledge of the 
  • other products available in the market for Non-SAP Products.
