Job Description: SAS Developer – SAS VI

Position: SAS Developer (SAS Visual Investigator)

Experience: 5–7 Years

Location: Mumbai (Dadar)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAS Developer with strong expertise in SAS Visual Investigator (VI) to support investigation, case management, and analytics solutions in the financial crime and risk domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAS VI configuration, SAS programming, and working closely with AML/Fraud business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support applications using SAS Visual Investigator (VI)

Configure case management workflows, alerts, and investigation screens

Develop and maintain SAS programs (Base SAS, SAS SQL, Macros) to support VI data processing

Integrate SAS VI with SAS AML / SAS SFD / other upstream systems

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

Support UAT, production deployment, and post-production issues

Work closely with compliance, fraud, and risk stakeholders to understand investigation requirements

Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and regulatory guidelines

Required Skills & Expertise

5–7 years of experience as a SAS Developer

Strong hands-on experience with SAS Visual Investigator (VI)

Proficiency in Base SAS, SAS SQL, SAS Macros

Good understanding of case management and investigation workflows

Experience working with large transactional datasets

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Experience in Banking / Financial Services / AML / Fraud domain

Exposure to SAS AML, SAS SFD, or SAS DI

Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment and scheduling tools

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
