Job Summary

We are seeking a SAS Scorecard Consultant with 3+ years of experience to join our IT Consulting team. The role involves working with global clients to design, develop, and implement credit risk scorecards using SAS. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, consulting mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality analytics solutions in a remote, client-facing environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement credit risk scorecards (Application, Behavioral, Collection, Fraud) for client engagements
  • Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering using SAS
  • Build and optimize scorecard models using logistic regression and statistical techniques
  • Conduct model validation, back-testing, and performance monitoring
  • Translate business requirements into technical analytics solutions
  • Prepare client-ready documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, and IT teams
  • Support model deployment and integration into client systems
  • Adhere to consulting delivery standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAS Scorecard development
  • Strong proficiency in Base SAS, SAS SQL, SAS Macros
  • Solid understanding of credit risk analytics and scorecard modeling
  • Expertise in statistical concepts: WOE, IV, KS, Gini, PSI
  • Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT Consulting / Analytics Consulting / Risk Consulting
  • Domain exposure to Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or NBFCs
  • Knowledge of model governance and regulatory frameworks (Basel, IFRS, SR 11-7 – good to have)
  • Exposure to Python, SQL, or data visualization tools
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore teams
