We are looking fora SATCOM Project Engineer to join an important Project located in Getafe in Hybrid job modality.

• An/a SATCOM Project Engineer , with at least 4years of experience.
• Availability to join a stable project in Getafe.
• Degree:Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Work Model: hybrid.
• Work Schedule: full-time.

• Technical Engineer / Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent internal recognition based on knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrable experience in the execution of SATCOM systems projects.
• Experience in integration projects involving radio equipment and communication systems used in Defence and Civilian sectors.
• Experience in the preparation of technical documentation.
• Desirable experience in RF link budget analysis.

• Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, the SATCOM Project Engineer is responsible for defining the engineering solutions for projects within the area, according to the customer requirements detailed in the proposal. The role also includes providing technical support to the commercial department during proposal preparation whenever required.
• Provide support to the commercial department during the pre-sales phase for the preparation of proposals for new projects, defining system specifications based on customer requirements.
• Design system solutions according to the technical requirements established by Project Engineering.
• Define the project’s technical solution.
• Prepare the project’s design documentation (ISO-9001 / PECAL-2110 for Quality Assurance in the Design, Development, and Production of Defence projects).
• Produce the project’s Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Generate the project configuration tree.
• Provide the Technical Office with the necessary information on the modules to be integrated into vehicles/shelters so they can design the mechanical components of the system.
• Provide information and technical support to the Standardization, Industrialization, and ILS areas in the preparation of the Operation and Maintenance Manual and training courses, as well as in the drafting of specific documentation required in defence procurement specifications.
• Carry out technical tests and verifications (internal and with the customer) to ensure the correct functioning of the project’s products or systems.
• Exchange information with Project Management through the meetings established in internal procedures to monitor project progress, analyse potential deviations, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Advise management on decisions regarding requirement changes that may affect the work carried out by the department.
• Maintain up-to-date written procedures that safeguard the quality of the final product, establishing guidelines for project execution.
