SCADA & PLC Programmer (Automation Engineer) (Bentong)

Role Purpose: The Automation Engineer will be the subject matter expert for our Siemens-based control systems. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of industrial automation projects—from designing HMI/SCADA interfaces to rogramming complex PLC logic—ensuring our manufacturing processes are efficient, data-driven, and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design & Development: Develop, program, and commission Siemens PLC systems (S7-1200/1500) using TIA Portal.
  • SCADA/HMI Architecture: Design and optimize WinCC (TIA Portal) SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, alarm management, and historical data logging and prompt data analysis reports through SCADA data logging.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and tune PID control loops for critical variables such as temperature, pressure, and motor speed (essential for rubber thread consistency).
