SCADA Technical Support Specialist
Pay Range:
$50 – 60/hr, dependent on experience
Summary:
Provides technical support to all System Control Centers and commissioning agents (i.e. Technicians and Test Engineers) that install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair components in distribution, generation, and transmission type facilities. Also, possesses a working knowledge of databases and networking technologies. Assists in completing EM projects. Assist the commissioning agent in the operation and maintenance of the Energy Control System, including the Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Data Concentrators, Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) that provide analogs, controls, and status inputs to the Energy Management System. Familiarity with GE D20, SEL-RTAC RTUs. Assist the EM Metering Engineer(s) in the operation and maintenance of the revenue metering system.
