Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role is available to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Eagle River, Alaska. This full-time, contract position spans the current school year and focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services primarily to elementary-aged students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to students across approximately two schools.
  • Manage an average caseload of 47 students with varied speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
