Function of Position:
Reporting to the Program Director, Liberty Partnerships Program School Based Tutors are responsible for supporting On-Site Advisors with after school tutoring one to two days per week at their assigned school. Instructors will be responsible for working with participants in LPP in specific areas of study, completing assignments, and working on large concepts the student is struggling with grasping. Instructors must have the ability to comprehend and explain educational materials and, assist with student learning, as appropriate. Classroom management skills are needed along with the ability to interact positively with secondary school participants. They will be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of participants.
