Job Description
Work as a Behavior Specialist and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an elementary school setting located in Denver, CO. This contract position provides an opportunity to support students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a K-5 caseload.
Duration & Schedule:
- Contract length: Current School Year (CSY)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 5/29/26
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Single school building placement
Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavior intervention services as a Registered Behavior Technician working alongside a Behavior Specialist
- Support a caseload of 12 to 15 students ranging from kindergarten to 5th grade, focusing on EBD and ASD students
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to assist in developing treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with students diagnosed with EBD and ASD preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment supporting diverse learners
