School Counselor needed for a CBSE School in  Gandhidham, Kutch, Gujarat

Location: Gandhidham, Gujarat 
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000/month (based on experience) 
HRA: Provided for outstation candidates 
School Timings: 7:35 a.m – 2:00 p.m 
Qualification: M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology or Counseling Psychology 
Experience: 3+ years in school counseling preferred

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional, behavioral, and academic support to students

  • Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions

  • Identify and address learning difficulties, anxiety, peer issues, and other challenges

  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student well-being

  • Organize workshops on mental health, stress management, and life skills

  • Maintain confidential records and follow ethical counseling practices


 Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills

  • Empathy, patience, and professionalism

  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion

  • Familiarity with child and adolescent psychology

  • Comfortable using digital tools for documentation and communication
