POSITION SUMMARY
The School Networks & Alumni Engagement Associate will support the implementation of Education Quality’s post–three-year Education Quality engagement model. The role focuses on organizing and activating school leaders and teachers who have graduated from the three-year program into national, regional, and global Communities of Practice. The Associate will coordinate engagement activities, maintain digital community spaces, and work closely with country teams and the EdTech Manager to ensure consistent communication, participation, and content flow across the CoPs.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
CoP Organization & School Grouping
- Categorize graduate schools into appropriate CoP groups based on geography, program data, and thematic needs.
- Maintain a clean, updated registry of participating schools and focal persons.
- Support onboarding of new members into digital community platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, LMS groups, portals).
CoP Engagement & Coordination
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly engagement cycles, including scheduling, reminders, and follow-up.
- Support facilitation of virtual learning circles, webinars, peer-sharing sessions, and discussion forums.
- Gather, curate, and share practical resources, success stories, and peer-driven insights.
- Track participation levels, identify inactive groups, and propose re-engagement actions.
Collaboration With Digital Learning & Education Specialists
- Work closely with the Edtech Manager to ensure content is uploaded, updated, and aligned with CoP needs.
- Coordinate with Education Specialists to translate CoP discussions into actionable learning materials or short practice notes.
- Escalate technical issues and user challenges to the EdTech function for quick resolution.
Monitoring, Data Tracking & Reporting
- Track group activity, attendance, content engagement, and community sentiment.
- Maintain simple dashboards for internal weekly and monthly reporting.
- Gather feedback from school leaders to inform continuous improvement of CoP operations.
- Document small case studies and examples of peer-led improvement.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Prepare meeting notes, summaries, and content distribution lists.
- Maintain a shared repository of learning resources and CoP reports.
- Support the coordination of cross-country or regional virtual events.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- None
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Communications, project management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, community of practice, education projects, or digital learning support.
- Experience working in education is highly desirable
- Experience with EdTech is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of digital platforms (e.g., LMS, WhatsApp groups, Zoom, Google Workspace) and AI.
- 2-4 years hosting webinars or trainings
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple countries and cultures.
- Detail-oriented and reliable in execution.
- Proactive in managing multiple groups and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Passionate about Opportunity’s mission. Able to promote and communicate the organization’s goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Written and verbal fluency in English, additional 1 or 2 local languages required. Must be able to attend & fully participate in meetings conducted in English.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- 20% international travel required for this role. Must be able to travel with minimal notice and maximum flexibility.
