School Prep Cook

We're seeking Prep Cooks to join our client's team in Fall River and Waverley, NS.

What We Offer:
• Wage: $17.50 an hour, plus 4% vacation pay added to your rate
• Job Type/Shift: Full-time, Monday to Friday, day shift
• Weekly pay, every Friday
• Free WHMIS training

What You'll Do:
• Measuring food, arranging supplies, and setting up for lunch
• Follow recipes/menu instructions to assemble ingredients for amount needed (around 150 per day)
• Washing dishes, and ensuring a clean kitchen
• Handing out meals to students
• Replenish supplies as needed
• Maintain records based on HQSA requirements

What We're Looking For:
• Must possess a valid safe food handlers' certificate
• Must have Vulnerable Sector Check or Child Abuse Register Check
• Must be bondable
• Ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards.
