School Social Worker - Canton, MI

An opportunity is available for two full-time Social Workers to support K-12 students within a dynamic school setting located in Canton, MI. These positions offer a valuable chance to positively impact students' social and emotional well-being during a full semester contract.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct social work services to either a middle school or high school caseload
• Collaborating with educators, families, and community resources to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and facilitating referrals
• Supporting students academic success by addressing barriers to learning

Qualifications:

• Valid SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work or Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Social Worker Credential is required (please include all licenses and certifications in your application)
