A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Wenatchee, WA. This contract position offers an ASAP start and extends throughout the current school year (CSY), providing a consistent and meaningful role supporting student communication development.

This role is ideal for certified SLPAs seeking a dynamic school environment. Travel between sites within the district may be required, but local candidates are also encouraged to apply. Additionally, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) will be considered for this position, broadening the opportunity for professionals with varying experience levels in speech therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Support students across all grade levels (K-12) to improve communication skills.
  • Assist in the documentation and progress tracking of student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators, SLPs, and families to optimize therapy effectiveness.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
