Job Description
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a middle school located in the Denver area (east side of the city). This contract role runs from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 20-25 hours to be determined. The position requires on-site presence; remote or hybrid arrangements are not accepted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to middle school students.
- Manage a caseload ranging between 25 and 45 students, delivering individualized interventions.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Valid Colorado Department of Education certification.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially at the middle school level.
- Strong caseload management skills with the ability to serve 25-45 students.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to working on-site throughout contract duration.
Location: Denver area (east side), Columbia Middle School.
