A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized support in an elementary school setting in Morris, IL. This position is ideal for professionals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and state licensure as a School SLP. The role is a leave replacement contract, offering a defined term of employment within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation.
