Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Longmont, CO. This full-semester contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality speech and language services across a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document student performance, progress, and therapy outcomes accurately
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings aligned with educational standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to student planning

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working within school-based environments, preferably serving K-12 populations
  • Knowledge of educational policies, assessments, and intervention strategies relevant to speech-language pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to tailor therapy approaches to meet diverse learning needs and developmental levels
