School Technology & AI Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Technology & AI Coordinator to lead our efforts in enhancing educational outcomes through technology.

Role Purpose: The Technology & AI Coordinator will spearhead the integration of advanced technologies and AI tools within our curriculum. This role plays a critical part in transforming our school into an AI-enabled learning environment, enhancing both teaching and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance the integration of technology in teaching and learning processes.
• Support and train teachers in effectively utilizing technology within the classroom.
• Align technology initiatives with International Baccalaureate (IB) teaching and learning practices.
• Introduce, manage, and train on AI tools for teachers and students to promote responsible usage.
• Design and implement AI-based programs and workflows to improve learning and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff proficiency in technology and AI tools.
• Manage and support Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Toddle or ManageBac, assisting teachers with planning, assessments, and reporting.

Collaboration: You will work closely with teachers, administrative staff, and educational leaders to foster a collaborative environment that embraces technology and AI, aiming for continuous improvement in educational practices.

Education: Master’s degree in Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 4-7 years of experience in an educational technology role, preferably in an IB school or similar educational environment.

The candidate must be a resident of Nellore or if not, then willing to relocate to Nellore if offered a job.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in LMS platforms such as Toddle, ManageBac, or similar.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and their applications in education, specifically ChatGPT.
• Ability to design and implement AI-based educational programs.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and guide both teachers and students in technology and AI literacy.
• Leadership mindset with a hands-on implementation approach.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in educational technology or AI in education will be an advantage.
