New Directions are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work in a Secondary school based in Rochdale. The role is starting ASAP on a full time, long term basis.

The School:

  • Mainstream secondary school based in Rochdale

  • Supportive and pro-active senior leadership team

    • The Role:

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development
  • Support the school’s vision and values, and foster a positive learning environment

    • The Candidate will:

  • Hold a PGCE and UK QTS (or QTLS)
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
  • Manage behaviour
  • Build relationships with students
