Full time Science Teachers for JHS level are needed for a well established at Adabraka

Qualifications

1.A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education.

2.Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in teaching Science at the Junior High School level.

3.Excellent subject matter knowledge, highly skilled in handling Scientific equipment/apparatus.

4. Proficiency in modern educational technology and teaching pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities

▪Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.

▪Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.

▪Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback.

▪Develop and construct standard test for learners’ assessment

▪Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.

▪Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs, and student organizations.

▪Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, supervisors regarding student progress and student needs.

▪Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

▪Able to ignite learners’ interest in Science as a subject.

▪Able to motivate learners to study and perform high in achievement test relative to the subject.
