About the Role:

Mater Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a Scientist to join the Stat Laboratory. This is a permanent part-time role working 32 hours a week, where you may be required to work across all shifts including evenings and over nights. This role is based working out of our Stat Lab in Chermside.

As a Laboratory Scientist at Mater Pathology, your role involves managing the daily workflow in our Stat Laboratories to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. You will be responsible for overseeing chemical pathology, haematology, transfusion medicine, and microbiology procedures, working independently during after-hours and weekend shifts. Collaboration with clinical referrers is essential to provide timely and accurate results for patients.
