We're Hiring SCM / Supply Chain Finance Controller

Devyani International Limited (DIL), one of India's largest and fastest-growing QSR operators, is inviting applications for the role of Supply Chain Controller to lead financial governance, cost optimization, and performance management across its end-to-end supply chain operations.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Controller will be responsible for driving financial discipline, cost controls, and working capital efficiency across procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and manufacturing interfaces. This is a high-impact leadership role combining strong controllership expertise with deep cross-functional business partnering in a multi-entity, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for supply chain and procurement
• Drive cost control and optimization across raw materials, packaging, logistics, and warehousing
• Analyze cost variances, landed cost, vendor performance, and unit economics across the QSR network
• Strengthen inventory valuation, controls, and working capital management
• Monitor inventory turnover, slow-moving stock, write-offs, and obsolescence
• Design and enforce robust SOPs and internal controls across P2P, O2C, and warehouse operations
• Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams on sourcing, vendor contracts, and capacity expansion
• Support ROI and investment appraisal for warehouses, kitchens, and supply initiatives
• Oversee finance operations for central warehouses and kitchens
• Drive automation and digitization using SAP, Power BI, Tableau, and analytics platforms
• Ensure timely closure of internal, statutory, and other audits with strong remediation governance

Key Success Metrics

• Supply chain cost efficiency and YoY cost reduction
• Inventory days, payable cycles, and cash conversion improvement
• Budget adherence and forecast accuracy
• IFC and audit compliance scores
• Automation coverage and quality of management insights

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
• 13-18 years of post-qualification experience in supply chain finance, controllership, or operations finance
• Early career exposure in Big 4 advisory/consulting , followed by leadership roles in FMCG, QSR, retail, or manufacturing
• Strong expertise in cost accounting, MIS, inventory management, and financial governance
• Proven experience leading multi-location teams and driving transformation initiatives
