Context:

You will work on Oracle SCM Cloud and EBS projects for external clients.

Most projects involve Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and Manufacturing , often in environments migrating from EBS to Oracle Cloud .

What you will do:

• Lead Oracle SCM Cloud implementations from requirements to go-live :
• Workshops with client supply chain and IT teams
• Functional design and configuration
• SIT / UAT support and go-live assistance
• Own at least one SCM stream end-to-end (OM, Inventory, Purchasing, or Manufacturing)
• Support existing Oracle EBS SCM environments:
• Analyze incidents
• Propose configuration or process fixes
• Document trade-offs clearly for clients
• Translate business constraints into Oracle configurations, not custom code whenever possible
• Train client users (key users, not beginners)
• Write functional specs, test cases, and handover documentation that another consultant can reuse

In the first 90 days:

• Take ownership of one Oracle SCM Cloud module on an active client project
• Run at least 3 client workshops without supervision
• Resolve functional incidents without escalation to senior consultants
• Deliver configuration that passes UAT with ≤2 rework cycles

This role is not a good fit if:

• You need detailed functional specs before starting configuration
• You have only worked on internal Oracle environments (non-client-facing)
• You used Oracle SCM modules occasionally but never owned a stream
• You are optimizing mainly for learning new modules rather than delivery

Required background (non-negotiable)

• 5–7 years of functional experience on Oracle SCM
• Hands-on experience on Oracle SCM Cloud :
• Order Management
• Inventory
• Purchasing
• Manufacturing
• Experience on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) SCM
• Participation in at least one full lifecycle implementation
• Direct interaction with business stakeholders (supply chain, operations, finance)

Nice to have (changes nothing if missing)

• Oracle Cloud or APICS certifications
• Experience on integrations or additional Oracle Cloud modules
• Prior consulting experience with external clients
